Delete your account
Deleting your Refynd account permanently removes your library and everything in it. You can do it in the app, or on this page if you no longer have the app.
Delete without the app
Enter the email address you sign in with. If it has a Refynd account, we'll email you a link. Open it within an hour and confirm.
Delete your account for good?
This deletes your account, every saved video, folder, tag and note, and the thumbnails we stored. It can't be undone, and we can't recover anything afterwards.
If you pay for Refynd Unlimited, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play as well. Deleting your account doesn't stop the store billing you.

Delete in the app
iPhone
Open Refynd, tap the person icon at the top right of your library to open Settings, then Delete account and Delete everything.
Android
Open Refynd, tap the round account button at the top of your library, then Delete account and confirm.
What is deleted, and when
- Straight away: your account, email address, saved videos, folders, tags, notes, search history and the thumbnails we stored.
- Within 30 days: copies in our hosting provider's encrypted backups, which expire on their own.
- Kept for up to 2 years: security and admin audit logs, which record account actions but none of your library.
- Subscription records stay with Apple or Google, who handle billing. Refynd never sees your payment card.
